Ah, they are adorable. The girl looks quite worried, leading *me* to worry. I suspect it is not the whisper of a child keeping a delicious secret about presents, but rather an unfortunate secret. Perhaps, like one of the Brady Bunch children, she has broken a vase! Or lost her mother’s earring! Oh dear!

Thank you, Cindy! (I just thought I’d creep back in, quietly, while no-one was looking…) Yes, she does seem rather concerned, doesn’t she…?! I think there may be some older-brother-masterminded cover-up plot afoot – or she’s come to enlist his help to oust the Scary Thing from under her bed. And thank you for the vote of reassurance – I’ve been trying to juggle two jobs and marathon training (not v. successfully!!!) over the past couple of months but, yes, I am now going to take 1 March as a fresh start and enjoy thinking up something for ‘Talent’ this week on IF
