The tricky buttressing stage…

Often a lengthy and inelegant process, ripe for arguments, as nominated tree putter-uppers attempt to find that critical point at which the tree attains perfect verticality and then swiftly apply anchoring mechanisms (usually consisting of a succession of different tactics, beginning with hopelessly inept and progressing to the just-about-successful) to make it stay that way. Advent Mouse here demonstrating one of the earlier, less triumphant attempts.
